The Amazon Fire TV Stick is an affordable media player that plugs into your TV’s HDMI port. It’s popular for IPTV because it’s responsive and works with older TVs too.
What you need
- A Fire TV Stick or Fire TV (a 4K-capable model for 4K)
- An Amazon account to install apps
- A stable Wi-Fi or wired connection
- Your OMNI IPTV activation details
Step 1: Install the right app
When we activate your subscription, we’ll tell you which supported app to use on the Fire TV Stick and how to install it. Follow those instructions and only install apps from sources you trust.
Step 2: Log in
Open the app and choose to add a new user, playlist or login. Enter your details exactly as received, confirm, and wait for channels, the VOD library and the TV guide to load.
Step 3: Get a good connection
The stick often sits behind the TV where Wi-Fi is weaker. An HDMI extender that moves it slightly away from the TV is a simple improvement. For the most stable connection, use an Ethernet adapter for Fire TV.
Step 4: Useful settings
- Add your favourite channels to a favourites list for quick zapping.
- Close apps running in the background to free up memory.
- Keep your Fire TV software up to date via Settings.
Not working straight away?
- Check that you entered the details exactly as you received them. Watch out for capital letters, spaces and the full server URL.
- Restart your device and your router and try again.
- Channels but no TV guide? Let the app reload the EPG or refresh the playlist in the settings.
- Picture stuttering? Check your connection first: a wired connection or a stronger Wi-Fi signal usually helps.
Still stuck? Send us a WhatsApp message with your device, the app you use and a photo of the message on screen, and we’ll help you out.
