A MAG box is a media player built specifically for IPTV. Instead of an app, it uses a portal: the box connects to a server address linked to the box’s MAC address.
What you need
- A MAG box or other compatible IPTV box
- A network cable or Wi-Fi connection
- Your box’s MAC address (on the sticker underneath)
- The portal URL you receive from us
Step 1: Share your MAC address
With a MAG box, your subscription is linked to the MAC address. Include it in your WhatsApp message when ordering. It usually starts with 00:1A:79.
Step 2: Enter the portal URL
On the box go to Settings > System settings > Servers > Portals. Enter a name for Portal 1 (for example OMNI IPTV) and paste the address we sent you into Portal 1 URL. Save the settings.
Step 3: Restart the box
Go back and restart the portal or the box. After booting, the box loads the channel list, the VOD library and the TV guide.
Step 4: Navigate
Use the remote to open the channel list, TV guide and VOD section. On channels with catch-up, the guide shows a symbol that lets you start earlier broadcasts.
Not working straight away?
- Check that you entered the details exactly as you received them. Watch out for capital letters, spaces and the full server URL.
- Restart your device and your router and try again.
- Channels but no TV guide? Let the app reload the EPG or refresh the playlist in the settings.
- Picture stuttering? Check your connection first: a wired connection or a stronger Wi-Fi signal usually helps.
