A Smart TV is the easiest way to watch IPTV in the living room: no extra box, just an app on your TV. This guide explains how to set up OMNI IPTV on a Samsung, LG or other Smart TV.
What you need
- A Smart TV with access to the manufacturer’s app store
- A stable internet connection, preferably wired
- Your OMNI IPTV activation details, which you receive via WhatsApp
Step 1: Install a supported IPTV app
Open your TV’s app store. OMNI IPTV works with multiple supported apps; when we activate your subscription we’ll tell you which app suits your TV model. Install that app and open it.
Step 2: Enter your details
Choose to log in or add a new playlist. Enter the details you received from us, for example a username, password and server URL. Save and wait for the channel list to load. The first time can take a moment because the TV guide (EPG) is downloaded too.
Step 3: Settings for the best picture
- Use a network cable instead of Wi-Fi where possible.
- Choose a picture mode such as Movie or Standard for natural colours.
- For 4K you need a 4K TV and a fast, stable connection. Pick a channel or title that is offered in 4K.
Step 4: Using the TV guide and catch-up
Open the EPG in the app to see what’s on now and next. On channels with catch-up you can go back in the guide and start a broadcast that has already aired.
Not working straight away?
- Check that you entered the details exactly as you received them. Watch out for capital letters, spaces and the full server URL.
- Restart your device and your router and try again.
- Channels but no TV guide? Let the app reload the EPG or refresh the playlist in the settings.
- Picture stuttering? Check your connection first: a wired connection or a stronger Wi-Fi signal usually helps.
Still stuck? Send us a WhatsApp message with your device, the app you use and a photo of the message on screen, and we’ll help you out.
